Looking Forward to a Lovely Spring

It promises to be a lovely spring!  The new spring collections were introduced a few weeks ago at the New York International Gift Fair and the one word that comes is mind is ... lovely.  Predominant colors were classic pinks, blue, green and yellows, but with a lovely softness.   Beauville offers Avignon in Pink,  Yellow, Blue and Green...clear colors but with a soft floral pattern.


I just love Bodrum's new Organic patterns...Mandarin and Geo. The colors are a bit brighter than appear in the photos, however, there is a wonderful softness in the fuschia, orange and apple green.

Garnier Thiebaut's High Tea is available in a fabulous new stain resistant fabric...Green Sweet...but is still 100% cotton!  High Tea Printemps Bleu is beautiful, a wonderful soft combination of blue and green. 

Le Jacquard Francais Spring 2011 offers a bit more boldness, although staying true to the classic green, blue and pinks.  Bamako Eucalyptus is a lovely sage green with a few sprigs of apple green for flair.  Bamako in Turquoise and Raspberry  are striking but with a subtle retro feel.
